Highly Sensitive Single-Coordinate Measurement Electric Field Strength by Jet-Drop Optical Measuring Systems with a Pendant Drop

The article discusses the features of jet-drop optical measuring systems for single-coordinate control of electric field strength. The use of a pendant charged drop as a device for comparing the effects of the measured and reference compensating electric fields in the implementation of the zero measurement method with a quasi-zero comparison result is considered. The comparison result is proposed to be determined by a high-precision laser interferometer of displacements by the displacement of a pendant drop., the surface of which is a frontal reflector for light.
