Optimal Solution for Reactive Power Dispatch Problem using Dragonfly Optimization Algorithm

This article represents the key researches in the field of electrical engineering. Optimal VAr dispatch is a multiple constraint objective function which improves the performance of the electric grid and its utility services. In this article the objective is attained by minimizing the active power loss of the system. The objective function is achieved by implementing a novel optimization technique named dragonfly optimization algorithm is implemented. To show the rigidness of proposed methodology, the methodology is experienced on the standard IEEE 30 bus system. The attained results are quite encouraging and effective when compared with existing techniques.
