TOPOLOGIES OF SINGLE-INPUT, MULTIPLE-OUTPUT DC-DC CONVERTERS: DESIGN AND APPLICATIONS

In contrast to its obvious use in hybrid electric vehicles, renewable energy sources and handheld electronic devices, DC-DC converters have a broad range of other uses. A lot of study has gone into dc/dc converters recently with the hopes of increasing their modularity and reliability while decreasing their total cost. The converter has a positive and negative layer so it can control the voltage separately and get a high gain. There are three types of multi-port dc/dc converters: those with multiple inputs and a single output, those with multiple inputs and multiple outputs, and those with both. Different types of dc voltages with different V-I characteristics may be used in multi-input multi-output dc/dc converters to provide a wide range of dc voltage levels at the output. To enhance the system's reliability and efficiency while decreasing the cost and number of power electronic gadgets is the central goal of adopting these converters. Up to this time, several different designs for multi-output dc/dc converters have been presented. This paper's objective is to introduce readers to about several multi-output DC-DC converters.
