Performance Enhancement of PV Solar Powered Bidirectional Communication System

In this paper, an algorithm has been presented for enhancing the performance of solar powered bidirectional communication system. Solar powered bidirectional communication system is an important traditional wireless application with energy harvesting nodes. Algorithm is helpful for getting dynamic operating points by simulating VI characteristics of solar power arrays to control maximum power point tracker (MPPT). Results show that less than 0.01 step size is good to get desired maximum power point (MPP) for maximum operating points to control MPPT. The dynamic performance of PV solar array with robustness, and fast approximation of the proposed algorithm are presented in this paper with the simulations. The developed algorithm is also beneficial for getting insight view to install an energy harvesting trans-receivers and micro-grid.
