A Design Method for Imaging Reflector With Less Distorted Focal Spot

In the process of imaging the electromagnetic interference(EMI) sources by paraboloid, when the plane wave radiated from EMI sources deviates from the parabolic spindle, there are aberrations, which leads to the distortion of the focal spots on the focal plane, and it is difficult to correctly identify the number and the location of the EMI source. To solve this problem, on the one hand, this paper used ray tracing combined with deviation evaluation method to optimize the focal plane to the focal arc surface, which reduces the trailing phenomenon of focal spots. On the other hand, the standard paraboloid is optimized into a shaped reflector by the reflector shaping technology, which increases the side lobe suppression ratio of the focal spot to 4dB.
