Biography
A. Frank van der Stappen (M'03) received the M.Sc. degree from Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree from Utrecht University, Utrecht, The Netherlands, in 1994.,He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Information and Computing Sciences, Utrecht University. His research interests include algorithmic automation, path and motion planning, grasping, simulation, and geometric algorithms.,Dr. van der Stappen is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering.(Based on document published on 2 October 2014).
