Biography
Charles U. Martel received the B.S. degree in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1975, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, in 1980. Since 1980, he has been a Professor with the University of California at Davis, Davis, and was one of the Founder of Computer Science Department. He has been an Emeritus Professor since 2012. He has worked on a broad range of combinatorial algorithms, but recently is focusing on algorithms for computer networks. He is a seven time World Bridge Champion and a member of the American Contract Bridge League Hall of Fame.(Based on document published on 27 March 2020). Author's Published Works
