Biography
Kok Keong Chai (Michael) received the B.Eng. (Hons), M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in 1998, 1999, and 2007, respectively. He joined the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), in 2008. He is currently a Reader of the Internet of Things and the Queen Mary Co-Director of Joint Program with the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and a member of the Communication Systems Research Group, QMUL. He has authored more than 65 technical journals and conference papers in the areas of machine to machine communications, wireless communications, the Internet of Things, and smart grids.
