Biography
Pedro F. Donoso-Garcia was born in Lima, Peru. He received the graduate degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1981, the M.Sc. degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1986, and the Ph.D. degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Florianópolis, Brazil, and 1991.,He is currently a Full Professor with the Electronic Engineering Department, UFMG. His research interests include high efficiency power supplies, electronic ballasts, distributed energy-storage systems, and microgrids.(Based on document published on 15 July 2020).
