Biography
K. T. M. Udayanga Hemapala (M’11–SM’17) received the B.Sc. (Eng.) degree from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Genova, Italy, in 2009. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Moratuwa. His research interests include industrial robotics, distributed generation, power system control, and smart grid.,He is the coordinator of the Smart Grid Research Group, Department of Electrical Engineering, and currently working as the Director of the Industrial Automation Research Centre.(Based on document published on 25 December 2018).
