Biography

Binoy Krishna Roy (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.E degree from NIT Silchar, Assam, India, in 1985, the M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in control system from IIT Kahragpur, West Bengal, India, in 1989 and 1998, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical engineering, National Institute of Technology, Silchar, Assam, India. He has long 35 year of teaching experience. He has authored or coauthored more than 100 papers in international journals (SCI/SCIE/Scopus), ten papers in national journals, more than 80 papers in international conference proceedings and ten book chapters.
