Biography
Pol Henarejos (pol.henarejos@cttc.es) received his M.Sc degree in telecommunication engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain, in 2009. He joined the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya, Spain, in 2010 in engineering area. In 2012, he earned his master's degree in research on information technologies. He worked on prototyping physical-layer (PHY) communication technologies using software development. He also has expertise in LTE-A technologies thanks to industrial contracts for implementing the PHY of LTE-A standard. Currently, he is working on new technologies based on the implementation of IEEE Standard 802.15.7 visible-light communications in real devices and the Inmarsat BGAN.(Based on document published on 29 January 2016).
