Biography
Damir Zarko (M’05) was born in Zagreb, Croatia. He received the Dipl.Eng. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Zagreb, Zagreb, in 1995 and 1999, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison, WI, USA, in 2004.,He is currently a Full Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Department of Electrical Machines Drives and Automation, University of Zagreb, where his research activities are related to design, modeling, analysis and optimization of electrical machines and power transformers.(Based on document published on 7 August 2017).
