Biography
Torsten Mietzner received the M.s. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Cologne, Germany, in 1997 and 2000, respectively.,His research areas have been small angle x-ray scattering and semiconductor device simulation. His main interest was the correct treatment of carrier–carrier scattering within the local iterative Monte Carlo approach. From 1997 to 2000, he was a scholar of the Graduierten Kolleg “Scientific Computing,” University of Cologne. Since 2001, has engaged in the field of stock options pricing, where he uses his knowledge of Monte Carlo methods.(Based on document published on 7 August 2002).Co-Authors:
