Biography

Jun Zhao received the Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1998. He is a Full Professor with the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR), Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IACAS), Beijing, China. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed research papers in various journals, conferences, and books. His research interests include natural language processing and information retrieval. He was the recipient of the Best Paper Award in COLING 2014.(Based on document published on 21 March 2016).
