Biography
Mingyi Gao received the Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2007. She was a Research Fellow with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 to 2013, she was with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Tsukuba, Japan. She is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Soochow University. Her current research interests include coherent optical communication, multicarrier PON, digital signal processing, machine learning, and FPGA.(Based on document published on 9 February 2024).
