Biography
Chih-hao Kuo (S'05) received the B.S. (summa cum laude), M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2003, 2004, and 2008, respectively.,In 2008, he joined Schlumberger-Doll Research (SDR), Cambridge, MA, as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist where he is currently working on studying and modeling directional electromagnetic measurements for horizontal well placement and formation evaluation while drilling. His research interests include deep logging-while-drilling electromagnetic measurements, electromagnetic scattering from multilayer rough surfaces at low frequencies, backscattering enhancements from layered rough surfaces, and inverse scattering.(Based on document published on 3 April 2008).Co-Authors:
