Biography

Robert R. Downs serves as a senior staff associate officer of research and as the senior digital archivist in the Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN) of Columbia University. His research interests include the design, development, use, and evaluation of digital libraries. Downs received his PhD in information management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
