Biography

Gustavo S. Vieira was graduated in 1992, and received the master’s and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in 1994 and 1998, respectively. During his PhD. studies, he spent 18 months at the University of California at Santa Barbara. His is a Full Researcher with the Instituto de Estudos Avançados of Brazilian Air Force, where he coordinates the Laboratory for Semiconductor Devices Characterization and leads the team for infrared sensors development. He is also a Professor with the Graduate Program of Science and Technologies for space application.(Based on document published on 10 April 2020).
