Biography
Dr. Mohammad Lutfur Rahman, was born and grew up in Bangladesh. Now he is working as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at Graduate School of Energy Science, Kyoto University, Japan. He received his Ph.D. in Energy Science and Technology from the Kyoto University, Japan. He obtained Master degree in Information Technology and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Philippines in the year 2003 and 2000 respectively. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the field of Engineering in Thailand and Bangladesh. His primary research interests and publications are in the areas of hybrid system, offshore-wind turbine, tidal turbine, AC/DC power systems, and renewable energy systems.(Based on document published on 14 August 2014).
