Biography
Houlei Gao was born in Shandong Province, China. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Shandong University of Technology, Jinan, China, in 1983 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1997, all in automation of electric power systems. He is currently a professor with the School of Electrical Engineering, Shandong University, Jinan.
