Biography
Ilaria Catapano received the Ph.D. degree in electric and information engineering from the University of Cassino, Cassino, Italy, in 2006.,In 2003, during her Ph.D. project, she joined the Institute for Electromagnetic Sensing of the Environment, National Research Council of Italy (IREA-CNR), Naples, Italy, where she is a full-time Researcher. She has coauthored more than 200 articles, mainly on scientific journals or proceedings of international conferences. Her research activities deal with noninvasive electromagnetic diagnostics including models and strategies for electromagnetic forward and inverse scattering problems, development of microwave imaging approaches, processing of experimental data gathered by radar for subsurface surveys, ...
