Biography

Matteo Felice Iacchetti received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2008. In 2014, he joined the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Manchester, Manchester, U.K., where he is currently a Senior Lecturer. Since 2021, he has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Energy, Politecnico di Milano. His main research interests include the design, modeling, and control of electric machines for propulsion, and cryogenic electric motors.(Based on document published on 9 October 2024).
