Biography

Sylvain Joblot was born in Chalon sur Saône, France, on December 21, 1980. He received the Materials and Science Engineering degree from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées, Lyon, France, in 2003. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in physics at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, Nice, France.,He is currently with the Centre de Recherche sur l'Hétéroépitaxie et ses Applications, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Valbonne, France. His study, which is in collaboration with STMicroelectronics, Crolles, France, concerns the epitaxial growth of GaN-based structures on silicon (001) substrate.
