Biography
Albert Wang received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA in 1995.,He was pursuing his graduate studies in electrical engineering at Stanford when he left to help form VXtreme, where he developed compression algorithms for streaming media applications. From 1997 to 2000, he worked at Microsoft, Redmond, WA, on wavelet coding, streaming media systems, and palettized video coding. He is now at Rivio, Santa Clara, CA, where he is a Senior Architect working on distributed computing applications.,Mr. Wang received first place in the 1994 IEEE National Programming Contest and third place in the 1992 ACM Scholastic Programming Contest.(Based on document published on 7 August 2002).
