Biography
Edjard Souza Mota received the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree in artificial intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, U.K., in 1998. He has been with the Institute of Computing (formerly, the Computer Science Department), Federal University of Amazonas, Manaus, Brazil, since 1989, where he was the Head of the Post-Graduation Program in informatics from 1999 to 2003, and is currently an Associate Professor. His current research interests include the application of AI techniques to software-defined networks, and neural-symbolic integration and cognitive reasoning(Based on document published on 26 June 2017).
