Biography
Hong Qiao (SM’06) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 1986 and 1989, respectively, the M.Phil. degree from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree in robotics control from De Montfort University, Leicester, U.K., in 1995.,She held teaching and research positions with Universities in the U.K. and Hong Kong, from 1990 to 2004. She is currently a “100-Talents Project” Professor with the State Key Laboratory of Management and Control for Complex Systems, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.
