Biography
Zhiyong Wang (M’06) received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in electronic engineering from the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, and the Ph.D. degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. He is currently an Associate Professor and an Associate Director of the Multimedia Laboratory with the School of Information Technologies, The University of Sydney, Australia. His research interests include multimedia computing, including multimedia information processing, retrieval and management, the Internet-based multimedia data mining, human-centered multimedia computing, and pattern recognition.(Based on document published on 5 August 2019).
