Biography
Shanben Chen received the B.S. degree in industry automation from Dalian Jiao Tong University, Dalian, China, in 1982, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in control theory and application from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 1987 and 1991, respectively.,Since April 2000, he has been the Special Professor of Cheung Kong Scholar Program of the Ministry of Education of P. R. China and Li Ka Shing Foundation, Hong Kong, and with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. He is the author or coauthor of 10 academic books and more than 300 magazine papers.
