Biography
Markus Hagenbuchner (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Wollongong (UoW), Wollongong, NSW, Australia, in 2002.,He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, UoW. He is the Director of the Center of Artificial Intelligence, UoW. He has led numerous international research projects on machine learning for which he was awarded major funds from the Australian Research Council. His main research interests are in machine learning, with an emphasis on the development of novel learning algorithms, particularly with respect to neural networks for structured data, deep learning, and their applications.(Based on document published on 12 April 2023).
