Biography
Peter Werle was born in 1968 in Hannover, Germany. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Hannover, where he afterward received his M.Sc. degree in 1997 and Dr-Ing. degree in 2005 at the Schering-Institute for High Voltage Technique and Engineering. From 2003 up to 2015 he was with ABB AG, Transformer Service, in Halle, Germany, where he held different national and international positions. Since 2010 he has been the general manager of the Transformer Service Workshop in Halle. In October 2014 he started his new carrier as Professor and Director of the Schering-Institute of the Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany.
