Biography
M. P. Anantram received the B.Sc. degree in applied sciences from the PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India, in 1986, the M.Sc. degree in physics from the University of Poona, Pune, India, in 1989, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, in 1995.,He was the Group Lead for Computational Nanoelectronics and, since 2004, a Fellow with the University Affiliated Research Center (UARC), National Aeronautics and Space Administration Ames Research Center, where his group developed the first 2-D quantum simulator for nanotransistors, and he codeveloped an algorithm to compute the charge and current density in nanodevices.
