Biography
Arnold Pears (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, in 1986 and 1994, respectively. He is currently a Foundation Professor and the Chair of the Department of Learning in Engineering Sciences, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He is also a Professor of computer science with Uppsala University, a member of the University Academic Senate, the programme director of the IT engineering programme, and served multiple terms as an Elected Member of the Educational Advisory Board of the Faculty of Technology and Natural Sciences.
