Biography
Naomie Salim (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in computer science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, the M.Sc. degree in computer science from Western Michigan University, and the Ph.D. degree in information studies from The University of Sheffield. She is currently a Professor with the Faculty of Engineering, School of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where she is the Deputy Dean (research and innovation) of the Faculty of Engineering. She has authored more than 100 journal articles and conference papers since the inception of her research career. Her main research interests include text mining, machine learning, information retrieval, cheminformatics, and natural language processing.(Based on document published on 12 July 2021).
