Biography
Mali Gong received the B.S. degree in optical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 1982, the M.S. degree in electro-optical engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 1984, and the Ph.D. degree in optical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1989, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include solid-state lasers, high-power fiber lasers, laser detection, and laser beam quality improvement.
