Biography
Tao Zhang (M’00) received the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Saga University, Saga, Japan, in 2002.,He became an Associate Professor with Saga University in 2002 and a Research Scientist with the National Institute of Informatics, Tokyo, Japan, in 2003. In 2006, he became an Associate Professor with the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University. His current research interests include pattern recognition, nonlinear system control, robotics, control engineering, and artificial intelligence.(Based on document published on 9 November 2018).
