Biography
Yoshihiko Nankaku (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in computer science and the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nagoya Institute of Technology, Nagoya, Japan, in 1999, 2001, and 2004, respectively. After a year as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Nagoya Institute of Technology, where he became an Associate Professor. He was a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, U.K., from May to October 2011. His research interests include statistical machine learning, speech recognition, speech synthesis, image recognition, and multi-modal interface.
