Biography
Sewan Choi (Fellow, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA, in 1995.,From 1985 to 1990, he was with Daewoo Heavy Industries as a Research Engineer. From 1996 to 1997, he was a Principal Research Engineer with Samsung Electro-Mechanics Company, South Korea. In 1997, he joined the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Seoul National University of Science and Technology (Seoul Tech), Seoul, South Korea, where he is currently a Professor. He was President of the Korean Institute of Power Electronics in 2021. He is currently serving as Chairman of IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Seoul section.
