Biography
Min Wu (minwu@umd.edu) received her Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Princeton University. She is the Christine Yurie Kim Eminent Professor in Information Technology and associate dean of engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, College Park, MD 20742 USA. She served as past chair of the IEEE Information Forensics and Security Technical Committee (2012–2013) and editor-in-chief of IEEE Signal Processing Magazine (2015–2017) and is currently president-elect of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (2022–2023). Her research interests include information security and forensics, multimedia signal processing, and applications of data science and machine learning in smart health and the Internet of Things.
