Biography

Masayuki Fujita is a professor at the University of Tokyo, Tokyo 113-8656, Japan, and professor emeritus at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. He is vice president of Transdisciplinary Federation of Science and Technology, Japan, and chair of the academic council of the Systems Innovation Center, Japan. He was president of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineering (SICE), Japan, in 2021 and research supervisor for the Japan Science and Technology Agency Core Research for Evolutionary Science and Technology from 2012 to 2020. He was the IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS) vice president of conference activities and a member of the CSS Board of Governors.
