Biography
Hailin Jin received the bachelor's degree in automation from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1998, and the M.S. and D.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Washington University in Saint Louis, St. Louis, MO, USA, in 2000 and 2003, respectively. From Fall 2003 to Fall 2004, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Computer Science Department, University of California at Los Angeles. Since 2004, he has been with Adobe Research, where he is currently a Senior Principal Scientist. He was the recipient of the Best Student Paper Award (with J. Andrews and C. Sequin) at the 2012 International CAD Conference for work on interactive inverse 3-D modeling. He is a member of the IEEE Computer Society.(Based on document published on 8 November 2019).
