Biography
Elliott R. Brown (Fellow, IEEE) received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in applied physics from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA, in 1981 and 1985, respectively.,He is currently a Professor (Emeritus) of physics and electrical engineering with Wright State University, Dayton, OH, USA. He was a Professor of EE with the University of California, (Santa Barbara and Los Angeles campuses), and prior to that was a Program Manager with DARPA, Arlington, VA, USA, and a Research-Group Leader with MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He has taught courses in sensor physics, electromagnetics, THz science and technology, solid-state physics, and microfabrication science.
