Biography
Lukas Worschech (M'07) received the M.S. degree in physics from the State University of New York, Albany, in 1992, the Diploma degree (summa cum laude) in physics from the University of Würzburg, Würzburg, Germany, in 1994, and the Ph.D. degree (summa cum laude) from the University of Würzburg in 1997. In 2002, he habilitated with studies regarding “transport and optical spectroscopy of semiconductor nanostructures.”,Since 1997, he has been with the Institute for Technical Physics, University of Würzburg, where he is responsible for a research group working on new nanoelectronic and optoelectronic devices.
