Biography
Sudeep Sarkar (Fellow, IEEE) received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering with a University Presidential Fellowship from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA. He is currently a Distinguished University Professor and the Chair of computer science and engineering, and Co-Director of the USF Institute for Artificial Intelligence + X. He has 35 years of experience conducting and directing fundamental research in computer vision, predictive learning, biometrics, and artificial intelligence.
