Biography
Dong-Joon Shin received the B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. From 1999 to 2000, he was a Member of Technical Staff in Wireless Network Division and Satellite Network Division, Hughes Network Systems, Germantown, MD. Since September 2000, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea. His current research interests include digital communication systems, error-correcting codes, sequences, and discrete mathematics.(Based on document published on 20 December 2012).
