Biography
Alan C. Evans did his undergraduate training in physics at Liverpool University, U.K. He received the Ph.D. degree in biophysics, studying the 3-D folding patterns of protein structure.,He spent five years at the Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd., Ottawa, working on the physics of positron emission tomography (PET) data. in 1984, he joined the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI), McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada. His research interests include multimodal brain imaging with PET and MRI, image processing and large-scale brain database analysis. He has published over 350 peer-reviewed papers and holds numerous NIH and CIHR grants.
