Biography
Aylin Yener [M'00] is an associate professor in the EE Department at Penn State. She received B.S. degrees in electrical and elecronics engineering and physics from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and communications engineering from WINLAB, Rutgers University, New Jersey. She was a P.C. Rossin endowed assistant professor of EECS at Lehigh University from 2000–2001 before joining Penn State. She received the NSF CAREER award in 2003 and currently serves as the chair of the Student Committee for the IEEE Information Theory Society.(Based on document published on 2 December 2008).
