Biography

Tom Dhaene received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Ghent University, Belgium, in 1993. He is currently a Full Professor with the Department of Information Technology, Ghent University. In 2000, he joined the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Antwerp as a Professor. Since 2007, he has been a Full Professor with the Department of Information Technology, Ghent University. He is also with iMinds. He has authored or co-authored over 350 peer-reviewed papers and abstracts in international conference proceedings, journals and books about computational science and numerical analysis and engineering. He holds five U.S. patents.(Based on document published on 7 July 2016).
