Biography
Joseph T. Bradley III graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1990 with a BSEE, the University of New Mexico in 1992 with an MSEE and in 1995 with a PhD in Electrical Engineering. He started his research career as a co-op student at lAP Research in Dayton, Ohio, investigating the properties of ultra-high velocity electrical contacts for solid armature railguns. As a graduate student he researched pulsed High Power Microwave devices and plasma diagnostics for ITER-relevant disruption plasma/surface interactions. He joined Los AlamosNational Laboratory in 1996, leading the specification, procurement, and installation of 95kV DC, 2 MW CW power supplies for the Low Energy Demonstration Accelerator RF systems.
