Biography
Santiago Marco (Senior Member, IEEE) received the University degree in applied physics in 1988 and the Ph.D. degree in microsystem technology from the University of Barcelona in 1993. He held a European Human Capital Mobility grant for a postdoctoral position at the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata working on electronic noses. He became an Associate Professor of Electronic Instrumentation with the Department of Electronics, University of Barcelona in 1995. He spent a sabbatical year at AIRBUS, Innovation Works, Munich, in 2004, working on ion mobility spectrometry.
